Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to clear out their inbox with Relieve Inbox, including people who use a keyboard instead of a mouse, a screen reader, magnification, or high-contrast settings.

Our standard
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
Current status: partially conformant. Most of the site meets WCAG 2.2 AA, and the gaps we know about are listed below.
What we've done
- Every control can be reached and used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator, and a “Skip to main content” link comes first on every page.
- Dialogs keep keyboard focus inside them while open and return it to where you were when they close.
- Buttons, form fields and links have names a screen reader can announce, and errors are announced when they appear.
- Each page has its own title, and moving between pages is announced to screen readers.
- Text meets WCAG contrast minimums in both light and dark themes.
- Text can be enlarged with the in-app text size control or browser zoom, and pages work at 320 pixels wide without sideways scrolling.
- Animation is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
Known limitations
- Payment pages
- Checkout and subscription management run on Stripe and PayPal's own pages. Their accessibility is outside our control.
- Screen-reader review
- We have not yet completed a full review of every flow with screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS and VoiceOver. Automated and keyboard testing cover the whole site.
How we test
We check every page in both light and dark themes with automated accessibility testing, and test the main flows by hand with only a keyboard. We re-check after changes that affect the interface.
Relieve Inbox relies on HTML, CSS, JavaScript and WAI-ARIA, and is built for current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.
